Stabbing near Toronto’s Stockyards neighbourhood leaves 1 seriously injured

Toronto paramedics say one man suffered serious injuries after a stabbing near Toronto’s Stockyards neighbourhood.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Old Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue at around 5:20 a.m. for reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 30s was found on scene suffering from serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, Toronto police said. Police said the victim and suspect were involved in an altercation prior to the stabbing.

Police have not released any information on possible suspects.
